Upward Basketball
Kindergarten through fourth graders play basketball and cheer at FBC Trussville through an organization called Upward. Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues.
Registration opens on September 3rd!

Living Tree
The Living Trees will be up Sunday after Thanksgiving! This year we will help over 40 families at 3 separate schools. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
One of the favorite ministries of the children's ministry is our Christmas project "Living Tree." During the Christmas season we make sure that needy families in our area have gifts under their tree. We have partnered with some of our local schools to help the neediest families in our area. For each child we provide 3-4 gifts, 2 outfits, a Bible and food for the family. We make sure that the moms and dads are provided for as well.
We also invite the families to our church on a Wednesday night and provide them with a great meal before dismissing the kids to their own Christmas program on the 2nd floor. Before we give the presents to the parents, the plan of salvation is presented and last year we had 18 pray to receive Christ as their Savior.
